Martin Bressem working as a real estate agent as well as an investor got tired of paying high commissions when selling his own properties. So in 1997, he decided to make a difference and open his own brokerage. The original name was Butterfield Ranch Realty. This new concept of reduced commissions took off like a rocket and soon home sellers from all over were contacting Butterfield Ranch Realty to save thousands of dollars when they sold their homes. Since Butterfield Ranch Realty was a small area and we were growing at such a fast pace, we needed to change our name. This was in an effort to accommodate more cities and counties than just Butterfield Ranch. So, first we changed our name to Butterfield Realty, Inc. Since then, we have grown into multiple states as well and yet again, were faced with the same problem. Since brokerages in other states already had the name Butterfield Realty, we took some time and thought about how we could strategically change our name one last time. After much brainstorming, we decided that what we really needed to do is partner up with communities and help homeowners save thousands when selling. So, we changed our name to Community Partners Realty, which really tells our story of helping communities. (By the way, we own the federal trademark on Community Partners Realty, so we will NOT be changing out name again!) We would really like to say thank you to all of the clients in the past, our present clients and of course our future clients!
